The Grinding Room is the raw materials research hub for the Division of Ceramic Art at Alfred University. Our mission is to support artistic research via ceramic materials, serving the community of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

JULY GRINDING ROOM HOURS

Monday 9:00am-12pm and 1:00pm-3:30pm

Tuesday - Friday 9:00am-11:30am

Grinding Room will be closed for all University holidays and other closures.


Materials are not available for sale outside of the Alfred University community.

Interdepartmental transactions (non-SoAD accounts)

Please email your request to tingey@alfred.edu AND grindingroom@alfred.edu.

            Include the full FOAP (acct# and name) to be charged..

            Approvers (OSP, Dean,, Dept Chair, etc) or Club Treasurer MUST be cc’d on requests

            Pick up will be scheduled AFTER approval is received..
